El pasado 2020 vimos como varias marcas trajeron de vuelta al mercado varios modelos que en un pasado se habían descontinuado pero que aún así habían marcado una época, vimos el regreso de coches como la Hummer o la Ford Bronco y como no este 2021 no será una excepción.
Empezamos el año y muchas marcas están empezando a presentar sus planes de trabajo, el día de hoy lo hizo Renault, la cuál ya se sabía que una de sus ideas era traer de vuelta sus modelos icónicos, es por ello que se hablaba de el regreso del Renault 4 y 5, lo que en principio parecía un rumor hoy se convirtió en una realidad.
Durante el evento del día de ayer la marca francesa presentó el Renault 5 E-Tech Prototype, un vehículo pequeño que tomaba como base el icónico Renault 5, es por ello el tan parecido diseño exterior, sin embargo este no va llegar como lo era el Renault 5, sino que este llegará con un tren motriz completamente eléctrico.
Los franceses no quisieron dar más detalles, ya que se trata de tan solo un prototipo, sin embargo no se guardaron que el modelo final tendrá un gran parecido al ya presentado, además de que tendrá un precio que será accesible para mucha gente.
Este fue presentado en el evento digital de Renault llamado, “Renaulution”, en donde Luca de Meo, director general de operaciones recalcó la importancia que tienen y tendrán los eléctricos en el mundo, es por ello que la firma no se quedará atrás y presentará a mercado mundial 7 diferentes modelos eléctricos para 2025, en los cuales se encontrará el Renault 5 y se espera que el 4.
Para terminar cabe decir que como ya se había hablado parece que la intención de Renault es ir trayendo a la vida de nuevo a sus modelos icónicos como es el Renault 4 o hasta el 12, esto pero con una propulsión eléctrica, aún así no se dio ninguna pista de ello en la presentación pero se espera que pronto presenten los prototipos.

The return of the Renault 5
Last 2020 we saw how several brands brought back to the market several models that in the past had been discontinued but that still had marked an era, we saw the return of cars like the Hummer or the Ford Bronco and of course this 2021 will not be a exception.

During yesterday’s event, the French brand presented the Renault 5 E-Tech Prototype, a small vehicle that was based on the iconic Renault 5, which is why the exterior design is so similar, however this will not arrive as it was. Renault 5, but it will come with a fully electric powertrain.
The French did not want to give more details, since it is only a prototype, however they did not save that the final model will have a great similarity to the one already presented, in addition to having a price that will be accessible to many people.

To conclude, it should be said that as it had already been discussed, it seems that Renault’s intention is to bring to life again its iconic models such as the Renault 4 or until 12, this but with an electric propulsion, still it did not happen no clue of it at the presentation but prototypes are expected to be unveiled soon.
