Apple es una de las empresas de tecnología más grande al rededor del mundo y si por algo es conocida es por su constante innovación y su adhesión a nuevos mercados cada día, estas últimas dos cosas mencionadas es lo que le estaría a Apple desarrollar su siguiente proyecto.
Ya se hablaba desde 2014 que la empresa con sede en California estaría pensando seriamente desarrollar su propio coche, sin embargo debido al gran aterrizaje que tuvieron los eléctricos en el mercado la empresa se ha querido sumar cuanto antes a este mercado y es por ello que según muchos reportajes, Apple ya ha indicado el diseño de lo que será su propio automóvil desde cero.
De acuerdo con distintas fuentes, la empresa podría comenzar su producción en 2024, sin embargo a causa de los retrasos que trajo la pandemia, esta podría atrasarse hasta 2025, además este llegaría con otro nivel de tecnología, una batería con un nivel superior y una asistencia al piloto que ni se ha visto.
Este no será precisamente un coche comercial o un robotaxi, sino que el fin del coche californiano será que te brinde una experiencia personal y masiva.
Se dice que el nombre clave de este proyecto es Project Titán y que la empresa y ha empezado a reclutar algunos ingenieros de distintas marcas automotrices, como son Volkswagen, Porsche, Tesla, entre otras.
Entre muchos aspectos los cuales destacarán del coche, se dice que la asistencia al conductor será lo más destacable, ya que la empresa ya se ha comenzado a juntar con otras empresas dedicadas al desarrollo de sensores, para así hacer de esta una experiencia única.
Apple es una empresa que guarda muchos secretos, es por ello que este proyecto aún no es una realidad y aún no se sabe nada de el, ya que Apple lo ha mantenido en secreto todo este tiempo, por lo que no lo podemos considerar un hecho hasta que lo podamos ver en su presentación oficial, aún así si esto se lleva a concluir sería un giro total para la industria automotriz, ya que Apple estaría aportando de su conocimiento, algo que le daría muchas innovaciones a esta industria y de las cuales partirán nuevas ideas.

Apple could begin production of its vehicle in 2024
