Desde que tomó fuerza la propuesta de elaborar coches eléctricos no se han dejado de plantear cada vez más argumentos en contra y se podría decir que “leyendas” acerca de este tipo de vehículos, una de ellas era que los eléctricos eran coches que iban a llegar para ser coches funcionales y que estarían “peleados” con la deportividad.
Sin embargo después de un tiempo llegó Tesla y nos demostró lo contrario, aún así la gente no cambió de opinión, es por ello que hoy Mercedes-Benz confirmó que su familia de modelos EQ llevará versiones AMG.
Esto lo confirmó recientemente Markus Schäfer, miembro del Consejo de Administración de Daimler, que no solo comentó que habrán versiones AMG, sino que aseguró que estas no serán simples versiones con cambios estéticos, sino que la sub marca de Mercedes va a intervenir en la mecánica de cada modelo, para hacer de el un verdadero vehículo de alto rendimiento.
Cabe recordar que además AMG no empezó siendo la línea deportiva de Mercedes, sino que está empezo como una marca independiente y más tarde fue adquirida por los alemanes, es por ello que esta es más independiente que, por ejemplo, la línea M de BMW, teniendo así más oportunidad de desarrollar sus propias ideas y plasmarlas en cada modelo.
Para terminar cabe decir que Mercedes planes asignar un diseñador tanto para AMG, como para la familia EQ, siendo Robert Lesnik el de AMG y Steffen Köhl el de EQ, que se supone estarán trabajando muy de cerca para hacer este proyecto posible.

AMG also has vision in electrics

It should be remembered that AMG did not start out as the sports line of Mercedes, but it started as an independent brand and was later acquired by the Germans, that is why it is more independent than, for example, the M line of BMW, thus having more opportunity to develop their own ideas and translate them into each model.
Finally, it should be said that Mercedes plans to assign a designer for both AMG and the EQ family, with Robert Lesnik from AMG and Steffen Köhl from EQ, who are supposed to be working very closely to make this project possible.
