La firma espa\u00f1ola CUPRA es una marca muy joven dentro del mundo automotriz, despu\u00e9s de concretar su independizaci\u00f3n de Seat, la misma creo su propia filosof\u00eda y sus propios dise\u00f1os, apuntando m\u00e1s por un dise\u00f1o futurista.<\/p>\n

Esto dio la vuelta al mundo, lo que hizo a CUPRA muy famosa por su nueva filosof\u00eda y conceptos, aunque la misma continuaba con sus modelos de siempre.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo el CEO del Grupo Volkswagen, Herbert Diess, ha confirmado que CUPRA no solo ser\u00e1 una marca completamente el\u00e9ctrica, sino que ya se dar\u00e1 el primer paso para que la producci\u00f3n de autos el\u00e9ctricos crezca en Europa, convirtiendo la planta de SEAT en Martorell, Barcelona a una planta de coches el\u00e9ctricos, adem\u00e1s de instalar una nueva planta cerca de esta, la cual se dedique a la fabricaci\u00f3n de bater\u00edas y as\u00ed poder dejar de depender de china para la creaci\u00f3n de ellas.<\/p>\n

Hasta el momento solo se fabrican coches de combusti\u00f3n interna en dicha planta, modelos como el Audi A1, el SEAT Le\u00f3n e Ibiza, CUPRA Formentor, etc. Sin embargo Diess ha confirmado que esta planta recibir\u00e1 renovaciones para poder fabricar modelos el\u00e9ctricos CUPRA y de otras marcas del grupo Volkswagen.<\/p>\n

A\u00fan as\u00ed no se sabe cuando CUPRA dar\u00e1 ese gran salto, aunque si se sabe que este mismo a\u00f1o ser\u00e1 presentado su primer modelo el\u00e9ctrico, el cu\u00e1l se habla que llevar\u00e1 el nombre de CUPRA EL-Born y estar\u00e1 basado en un dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s Volkswagen.<\/p>\n
